Hi Jennifer,
I actually just used my tortoise cover with the orange bamboo lining yesterday.
It was a damp and rainy day so I felt good that baby was covered and 'sealed' in his little cocoon as he napped. The cover isn't heavy at all and I didn't feel like I was wearing anything extra.
I could still access his little legs and hands if necessary.
This is really a great product and I am so happy to have found it. It's the wind proof fabric that gives me such peace of mind. The real test will be when we take him camping this February and see how it fares!

We bought two covers for our twins and they are fantastic. They fit easily over our stroller (Baby Jogger City Select) or our carriers (Ergo). Best of all they adjust very easily and keep our little ones warm and dry. We are very happy with these versatile, stylish and very well made covers and would recommend them to everyone!

Jennifer - they really are great. I just had the kids out in this wet snow today and I was worried it would be too much for the covers. The outsides were a bit wet, but most of the water just pooled or beaded up and the insides were dry!

It's really hard for a new mom to know what is worth getting and what isn't necessary. This go go mama baby carrier cover is fantastic as it has the dual function as a cover for the stroller and car seat as well, making it well worth an investment.  It's lightweight to minimize extra weight. And I was surprised at how soft the fleece is on the inside against the baby. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Our baby was born in November and the Tortoise Shell cover over the sling kept her warm - and us outdoors - all winter!  It's great protection!
